About This Release

Release 29.2.0 brings a few enhancements to datalists and workflow blocks. It also fixes bugs related to workflow blocks, HTML cards, and chat.

New Features

• Option to display or hide datalist action buttons using init workflow: Action buttons in a datalist are not only used to manage data but also to open a chat or display a pop up. You can now choose to display or hide an action button within a datalist using the init rule.

In the Dashboard Rule Block, select the app, select the dashboard, and select the datalist. Click Action Buttons from the left panel and select the buttons to show from the dropdown list.

Note: All action buttons in a newly created datalist will be displayed in the Dashboard Rule Block. However, to view and select action buttons from an existing datalist, you must first go to Dashboard Edit and update the datalist to the dashboard.

• Option to view field names instead of field ids in the logs of a reflexive workflow: In the logs of a Form Rule Block, you can now view the field names instead of field ids. This will eliminate the need to cross-check field names in forms and help in debugging workflows easier.

• Fix in database: The blank space seen below the spreadsheet while scrolling down is now fixed.
  

• Color change for Background workflow: The color of Background Workflow block is now changed to light blue for a better UX.
  

• Option to view workflow data in JSON format: You can now view the entire data within a workflow in JSON format from the Workflow Settings panel. You can search for any namespace or workflow block label and identify all the instances where it is used in the workflow.

• Help for Child Grid and Global Variables: updated help is now available on how to create a Child Grid using Object DNA as well as using a workflow, and on global variables.

• Update in Vizru Developer Tools: Using Developer Tool, you can now get the list of all reflexive, Before Save, and After Save workflows in a selected app. You can also check for spreadsheet lock settings – Lock Header Row and Lock column Insert/Remove action. • The issue in workflow causing error while filtering null using case insensitive options in ‘IN’ and ‘NOT IN’ operators is fixed.
• The issue with “Row count only” checkbox option getting unchecked in spreadsheet filter block while guardrailing is fixed.
• The issue of unresponsive Save as Template button in HTML card is fixed.
• The issue of not receiving notification while uploading a file via HTML code is fixed.
• The issue of inline function not working while adding strip in datalist templates is fixed.
• The issue in load more option in notification is fixed.
• The issue in datalist with $ symbol not visible is fixed.
• The issue with using a vizkey in workflow is fixed.
• The issue in reusable workflow is fixed.
• The issue of grid export not working while a filter is applied is fixed.
• The issue in ZEOS C panel editing is fixed.
• The issue in read more/read less component while using viz-striptext html component is fixed.
• Settings icon missing from Dashboard Edit after editing a template is fixed.
• The blank space on top of a datalist after removing the title or search field is fixed.
• The issue in form builder help document is fixed.
