About This Release

Release 24.0.0 introduces dashboard templates, brings enhancements to workflows, and fixes bugs related to spreadsheet sharing, workflow blocks, and chat.

New Feature

• Dashboard Templates: You now have a dashboard library that has a set of dashboard UI templates you can use. Any dashboard you build can be published to the library and imported to any other tenant. To publish a dashboard, click the Dashboard Edit icon.

• Open Settings by clicking the icon.

• Click Publish. The following pop-up is displayed.

• Enter a version number, add any keyword to identify the dashboard, and upload a screenshot of the template.
• Click Save. The dashboard gets published to the Dashboard Library.
• To use this dashboard for any other app, click Create a Dashboard. The following page is displayed.

• You can either create a new blank dashboard or use a template. To import a dashboard template, hover your mouse over the template and click Create.

Enhancements

• Shortcode on spreadsheet: You now have the option to use the shortcode on the spreadsheet. With this, you can use workflows as reusable functions and initiate an action on all objects within a dashboard, or on all dashboards within an app. In every spreadsheet block, you have the option to select a spreadsheet via shortcode.

• Increased watermark size: watermark size while generating a PDF is now increased.
• Multiple select dropdown object filter is now enabled for cards, that is, multiple values can be selected at a time in a dropdown.

Bug Fixes

• The issue of uid not being fetched into the Conditional Block from Get User Details block is fixed.
• The issue with spreadsheet unshare in the guardrail is fixed.
• The issue of label missing while cloning a Spreadsheet Filter Block is fixed.
• The textual error with the Math workflow block label is fixed.
• The loading issue while adding a smart dropdown in a form is fixed.
• The issue with fetching values from a reflexive workflow for smart dropdown in form is fixed.
• Edited workflows not being shown in the Recent Workflows list and deleted workflows being shown again in the workflow list are fixed.
• Type and Appearance for a new form are now set by default.
• On clicking the bell icon, the latest notifications are now displayed on top.
• Date card is formatted for different use cases like to get user details, date details, edit date details, and display user details.
• “viz-timeago” and “viz-inputdate” can now be used in HTML cards and datalists.
• Date card formatting issue is fixed.
• The issue with the overlay getting autoclosed while clicking on the top or bottom of the overlay is fixed.
• Usernames not getting changed while switching one-to-one chat is fixed.
• The issue is the published app where an unshared dashboard filter not getting deleted is fixed.
• View collection not redirecting to forbidden URL is fixed.
• Dashboard filter delete issue after guardrailing is fixed.
